How and What Roles You Can Earn
The primary way to showcase the quality and scale of your contribution to the Polymer Labs community is through roles that are awarded by the team based on your level of activity. Below, we’ve outlined a few of the roles you can earn.
Polymer Community Roles:
- @Polyfriend – Awarded to those who have engaged with the community, even minimally, and shown activity.
- @Loyalists – For those who actively communicate and interact with others, spread positive narratives, and create a good vibe in the community.
- @Guardian – Given to those who are knowledgeable about the project, answer questions from new users and are ready to help.
- @Navigator – Earned by actively assisting users and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere within the community.
- @Wayfinder – The top-notch helpers and protectors of the community, making significant contributions to its development.
- @Elites – Awarded only to those who have been in the community for a long time, consistently support it, help others, and make notable contributions to its improvement.
Polymer Notification Roles:
- The @Gamer and @Scribe roles are designed for receiving notifications about games or new quests, but currently, their issuance is suspended due to changes in roles and project goals (in the future, the possibility of obtaining them will most likely be restored).
Polymer Dev Roles:
- The @Polyverse Dev and @Insider roles can be earned by those who are interested in the technical aspects of the project or make significant technical contributions to its development.
Update on Roles
Recently, the Polymer Labs team provided an update on community roles and announced the addition of new roles and channels soon.
Here’s what has changed:
- If you previously held @Polyfriend or @Loyalists, you’ll now be awarded a @Sophomore role.
- For holders of the @Guardian, @Navigator and @Wayfinder roles, a @Junior role has been issued, reflecting deeper engagement and commitment.
- The @Junior role remains, because as the team says – Elite is forever!
At this time, these changes are not entirely clear due to the development of the project’s new educational system and the upcoming addition of new roles.
Insights on the Future Programs
Based on insights shared by team members and community moderators, we’ve learned that Polymer Labs is gearing up to launch two exciting programs within its community shortly:
Education Program:
- Although the team has not fully disclosed the details, they’ve indicated that the program will offer a chance to gain in-depth knowledge of the Polymer Labs ecosystem and its technologies.
- Additionally, new roles will be introduced after the launch, which will become our goal to achieve.
Ambassador Program:
- They first discussed its potential introduction on June 6, 2024, and by December of the same year, they were actively stating that its launch was just around the corner.
- Recently, the team restricted access to a special channel for submitting content. To ensure your content is noticed, make sure to tag @Polymer_Labs in your posts and threads.
How to Apply for a Future Ambassador Role?
Currently, there is no formal application process for submitting your work or interacting with the team to be considered for an Ambassador role.
Steps to prepare:
- Complete the Verification Process: Verify your account and explore the channels and project documentation.
- Engage in Chats Actively: Participate in both global and local chats to stay informed and contribute meaningfully.
- Create Content: High-quality, informative content with engaging visuals will catch the team's attention.
- Tag @Polymer_Labs: The team monitors social media mentions and tags, so be sure to tag @Polymer_Labs to increase your chances of being noticed.
Potential Drawbacks
Team’s uncertainty regarding future roles and updates to existing ones. This lack of clarity can leave community members wondering what changes to expect. This uncertainty makes it challenging for community members to plan their contributions and engagement in the long term.
The extended development time of the ambassador program is another concern. It would be helpful if the development of the ambassador program was accompanied by regular updates and insights, so the community understands at which stage the team is in the process.
The closure of access to certain roles or channels without prior announcement or notification to participants can lead to a lot of questions and misunderstandings.

In our professional opinion, despite these challenges, it’s worth staying engaged and keeping an eye on announcements. The project’s potential is clear, and once the team enhances its community efforts and delivers on its program launches, it could become even more promising.
